Supagas 45kg Cylinder

The 45kg LPG cylinder has residential and low volume industrial applications. In the home, LPG is an affordable and adaptable option to a range of purposes. As we move into the colder months, inevitably you will ask: “how do I heat my home without breaking the bank?”.

LPG is the reliable answer to this question. Gas heating provides warmth quickly and effectively, even in larger areas of the home. Supagas cylinders can be swapped for free when you run out of LPG. Free next day delivery is available for most areas of Australia.

The 45kg Supagas cylinder is 826x310mm in size. LPG is used for cooking, as the flame wraps around the pan, distributing the heat evenly, rapidly, and with good temperature control. An LPG 45kg cylinder typically lasts for a year or more if used for cooking exclusively. For commercial use, Supagas will provide you with two or more 45kg cylinders at once.

When one bottle runs out, you simply flip the connecting changeover valve over to the full cylinder. When you do this, give Supagas a call. Supagas offers a quick and easy gas bottle exchange system for home and business: your LPG delivery driver will come and exchange a full bottle for your empty.

How to check how much gas is left in an LPG cylinder?

If your LPG appliances are not working, please check that the gas has been turned on and that there is gas in the cylinders.

supagas tank 1

Step 1

To get an approximate level of the gas left in your LPG cylinder pour boiling water over the cylinder, starting from the top and working your way down the side to the base.

Step 2

Next, run your hand down the cylinder starting from the top. The hot water will heat the metal of the cylinder but due to the cold nature of LPG, the metal will remain cool wherever it is in contact with the LPG. Therefore, the section of cylinder that remains cool is the section that contains product.
